Season's Greetings!

Here at LB HQ we had a very lovely Christmas. Lots of good food, wine, oh and the family! It was the first Christmas where Scarlett really had a small clue that it was a special day. Apart from being beside herself that all her family were in one house, she was inundated with gifts!

These pics show a favourite moment of the day......not satisfied with pushing her new pram, Scarlett decided to get in it and wait for someone to push her! Cheeky is not the word..........

Personalised Cushions

Snowy Weekend

Our part of Hertfordshire caught up with the rest of the country this weekend, getting a big snowfall. It was my husband's Birthday and we spent most of the weekend at his parent's in a village nearby. Activities included a snowy walk through a Narnia-esque wood, eating and playing in the snow this morning! Scarlett also loves to visit the chickens in the garden - hours of fun!

Lettie Belle Cards

For a while now I have had a collection of greetings cards designed, and ready to make. However, due to being quite busy, I just haven't had time to do this.

Here are a couple of Christmas cards I have made for friends and family. A collection of cards, made using entirely recycled paper and card will be available in the new year!

Here is a commission I have just finished, for the little boy of some very good friends.

Little Christmas Decoration Project

I do love to make quite a few decorations myself for the house each year. As this year is 19 month old Scarlett's first proper Christmas, I thought we would make some together!
We began by painting and printing onto some recycled card, using kids' water based paint. Scarlett only licked the brush a couple of times!
When the paint had dried later I cut out bird shapes, using a Lettie Belle stencil and stitched them onto lengths of old ribbon.
Very easy, fun and quite effective little project......Scarlett's word when she saw them this morning was "wow"!
