Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday we took Scarlett to local Willows Farm to visit the pumpkin patch. Willows is always busy and has lots of animals, indoor and outdoor activities for kids. Scarlett greeted her favourite animals - pigs and reindeer with a loud 'hello', and waved to them as we moved on!

There were plenty of seasonal decorations everywhere. We went to the huge pumpkin patch, where Scarlett chose a nice tall one for mummy to carve! After more animals, birds of prey, a sheep race and the shop, it was definitely nap time.....

Lettie Belle at Popdance Tea Party

This morning we took part in the lovely local event by Popdance, previously mentioned in this blog.....a tea 'pop' party complete with delicious cupcakes, fabulous dance demo, stalls full of treasures, all in aid of Grove House Hospice!

Lettie Belle displayed a small selection of cushions, brooches and canvases with a catalogue showing our full collection. Little ones particularly appreciated the 'Lettie Belle' bunting and one teeny girl found the temptation to pull it too much!

We had a fab time with lots of interest, which tops off a very busy week at Lettie Belle HQ.....the word is out!

Devon....

After spending a few nights in a tent (albeit a comfy one), we spent the second week of our september hols in Torcross, Devon. This is just a few miles from Dartmouth. We rented a flat on the seafront, which was very civilised and well located to visit beautiful South Devon. I even spotted dolphins in the bay very early one morning (being woken by a baby sometimes has its advantages)!

We spent days discovering hidden coves around Salcombe, and munching crab sandwiches and cakes. We also found a fabulous farm shop near our base, which we visited nearly every day! Nick rustled up many a delicious dinner made using local produce.

Scarlett developed a lot while while on holiday and loved the beach, and exploring. One of the funniest moments was watching her enjoy her first babycinno, and dunk her biscuit.....messy is not the word! Can't wait for our next visit....
